New Location for the Friends’ Monday Night Lecture Series

Learning Center at Lighthouse Park

In the past, these programs have been presented at the Contented Sole, the restaurant adjacent to Colonial Pemaquid, thanks to a close working partnership with Warren Busteed, the Sole’s manager. Warren has been a true friend to the Friends, and we thank him for his flexibility and cooperation. However, beginning this summer, our new venue will be the Learning Center in Lighthouse Park at the end of Pemaquid peninsula.

The center has many advantages: a larger space, plenty of seating, ample parking, and an environment that is conducive to a lecture series that will allow the Friends to reach a broader and larger audience. We want to thank the Commissioners of Bristol’s Park and Recreation Department for agreeing to allow us to use the Center.
