New Gift Shop

The Friends of Colonial Pemaquid have re-opened their Gift Shop this year at a new location in the front of the historic Fort House. The newly-refurbished Shop has updated gifts that are site-related (‘branded’) as well as colonial toys and books, works by local artists and authors, Maine crafts, salt glaze pottery, Maine and Celtic music, pirate novelties, T-shirts, postcards, handmade soap, jewelry, and much more.

The Friends are looking for volunteers to help us with this exciting new project. Prior retail experience is not required and hours can be flexible – and you will have the opportunity to meet all kinds of interesting people, plus all proceeds from the gift shop are applied toward on-site educational projects and programs designed to enhance the experiences of our visitors.
